About Me

Honestly, I became a writer because I had a story trapped in my mind for five years, and once I wrote 70K words in 28 days, more stories filled the void that one left behind.

Despite a busy schedule (work and kids), I stumble upon scenes throughout the day. The ones that stick with me get written down as a flash and then, maybe, even a short story, novella, or novel.

It wasn’t until I was out high school that my love of books ignited. Most likely because I chose to read versus being forced.

I also believe that has crossed over into my writing, being out of school for five years now. This freedom has opened my creative levies, and slowly built my skills in order to recreate the main character’s experiences with the readers.

My style is still fluid, as I like to genre hop and change narrator voice between my pieces. The only limit I like to put on myself is a word count maximum, and that is purely for editing-Natalie, because drafting-Natalie just has to bring the scene to the page.
